What is communication 

Preface/ Define communication process

Communication means sharing of information. The most usual medium of communication is language. Communication process is the system by which a dispatch goes to the sender from the receiver in a methodical way.

Communication has been defined a transferred of a thought or idea from one person to another person so that it in be understood and acted upon. That means communication process is the system by which a message goes to the sender from the receiver in an organized way. There are many steps those are composedly called communication process.

According to S.K. Kapur, "The communication process is the method by which the sender transfer information and understanding to the receiver."
At last, it is clear that communication process as the method by which sender & receiver exchange necessary Information.
The communication process is shown below through the new model of communication.

1. Sender: Sender is the person who sends the message or idea to the receiver, communication takes place based on sender. Say Philips Co.

2. Encoding: It means the process of putting thought into symbolic form which can be understand by another person to whom the sender wants to communicate the idea. Say Philips Co convey: their message and show a Koi fish through their advertisement.

3. Message: Message is the set of symbols that the sender transmits to the receiver through media or channel. Say the advertisement of Philips vulbs.

4. Media: Media refers to the specific communication channel by which message moves one to another. It bridges the interval between sender & receiver.T.V. Newspaper, Telephone e-mail may be the media of communication. In the our example media is Television.

5. Decoding: Decoding is the process of inter prating a message to arrive at the senders meaning. Communication will be more effective if decoding matches suitably with encoding. In our example the consumer watches this advertisement interprets in different-way.

6. Receiver: Receiver is the person who receives the message sent by the sender. Here receiver is the audience who watches the advertisement of Philips vulbs.

7. Response: Response is the reply of the receiver. It's the action or reply of the receiver after getting the communication. The response may be either immediate or' remitted.

8. Feedback: The observation of receivers response is called feedback. In our example the feedback may be that consumers, praise or criticize about the Philips vulbs.

9. Noise: It is last element of communication process. It is unplanned distortion during communicative process.Noise may transpire in any of the way in the communication process. Say while watching T.V. Sound of family members or making on I side may be noise in this communication.

Conclusion: From the above discussion we can draw conclusion that communication is a sequence of some steps & sender must take initiative to increase each sequence to make the communication process effectively
